Dr. Weinstein is board certified in Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and is a Clinical Professor at the University of California at Irvine, School of Medicine. He received his medical training at the State University of New York at Buffalo and University of California at San Diego. His allergy and asthma training was at Children's Hospital Medical Center in Boston, a major hospital affiliated with Harvard Medical School.

He served as president of both the Western Society of Allergy and Immunology and Orange County Society of Allergy and Immunology and as Governor of the Regional, State and local Societies of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. He also served as President of CRN/Allergy and Respiratory, a network of leading research investigators. Dr. Weinstein has been the principal investigator in over 175 clinical trials and has published his findings in leading medical journals. He has also lectured nationally and internationally.

Dr. Weinstein just celebrated his 35th Wedding anniversary and is the proud father of 3 Children. He enjoys golf, but his aspirations exceed his ability.
